How do I upgrade my jailbroken iPhone 3gs (new bootrom) that is currently on 3.1.2 to a newer version like 4.3.3? I don't want the most recent version that is in iTunes because it requires a tether. So if I can't just plug it in and restore it then how can I do it?

Only if you have shsh blobs for 4.3.3 you can restore to that version.
Open cydia and it should list them on the top of the page.
If you do have them then you can create a custom 4.3.3 with pwnage and restore to that.

Cydia says shsh: ios 4.1 & 4.3.3.

I've never saved them on my own so cydia must have done it automatically. Since cydia has it saved what do I do now? Something with tinyumbrella right?
