I Recently found my old G3 Imac and would like to make some hardware/ software upgrades to it. It is a slot loding G3 Imac DV(Blueberry) I Would Like to upgrade the RAM & Hard Drive and a buy a new optival drive

1. I want to know if this hardrive would work with this Imac (Western Digital WD1200AAJS 120GB 7200 RPM 8MB Cache SATA-300 Hard Drive - OEM) $44.99 (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16822136225)
2.What type of ram does this Imac use.

I would also like to know about anybodys past experinces in upgrading this machine/parts used.

You will need a ATA drive not sata, but you might be limited in size to less than 127GB or some other limit. I dropped a 80Gb in mine
Any PC ram that's the same type i.e PC100/PC133 SDRAM/DDR/DDR2 or what ever it was should work. I had some ram around that fitted and worked.
