With Leopard right around the corner, iLife 'o8 just released, and the OS/software on my mini getting old.. I was thinking of an upgrade.
1) Will Leopard run on a G4 mini? Right now it runs Panther, no problem, with 512mb's of Ram. Am I going to have to up the RAM to 1 gig as well? The computer is only used for internet/iTunes/mail, and now occasional iMovie and Photoshopping by my little sister.
2) If I should upgrade the RAM, will any DDR ram work? Here's what I found on Tiger (newegg was pretty much sold out)

3) iLife '08: iPhoto I assume will run on a G4 no problem, but that's the only program that we'd really use. iMovie won't run, iDVD doesn't really need to be upgraded, no one uses iWeb, basically we'd be looking at an $80 upgrade for iPhoto from '05 to '08 and iMovie from '05 to '06. Worth it, or no?
