Hi there. I've got a 250 GB Lacie Porsche FW 400 HD that I am looking to upgrade. I was all set to buy a 1 TB drive on tiger direct for 50 bucks, but I opened the Porsche drive and discovered that it is IDE, not SATA. I take it there is no way to use a sata drive with an IDE case, with some sort of adaptor?

So is it worth saving the case at this point? Looking around, IDE drives seem to be in short supply and much more expensive per gigabyte. It would be too bad because it's a beautiful case, and the FW 400 is great. It's just a bit too small for my Time Machine backups now.
