Upgrading a Macbook Pro with a...Macbook Pro Retina

Right now I have a:
Early 2011 Macbook Pro, 2.7ghz Core i7, 8GB DDR3 1333Mhz, 256gb SSD, Intel 3000 512mb.

If I upgraded to this Apple refurb . Would I experience a decrease in performance due to the lower clocked i5 processor? I do video editing, 3d modeling.

The CPU should be a little bit faster on the new one. The GPU is quite a bit better as integrated GPUs have come a long way in recent years. You should be satisfied with the upgrade from your current 13'' MBP.
