Hi guys,
so, I'm currently using a 2011 iPhone 4S (32 gb), I still like it - even its size - but with iOS 9 it's really way too slow now. I'm okay with 32 gb of storage, but not with 16 gb.

So, my possible choices for buying a new iPhone are just 3:

- buy an iPhone 5S, 32 gb, for 579 € --> 637.91 $
- buy an iPhone 6, 64 gb, for 779 € --> 858.26 $
- buy an iPhone 6S, 64 gb, for 889 € --> 979.45 $

Obviously the 6S would be the most wise choice, yet, as you can see, here in Italy it's pretty expensive. What would you do in my place? I have never owned a device bigger than 3.5", so I'm also a bit scared I could find the 6 and 6S a little bit too big for me :p

I think the question that you need to ask yourself here is, "what can I afford". If you can afford the 6S, that is the one I'd recommend. If not, go with the iPhone 6. You'll get used to the size within a week.

Purchased from Apple? You have 15 day return policy with no restocking fee unless it's different in Italty. Try the one you think you will like most.

I agree with Eileen. The 5s will be a marked improvement over the 4S, but it is now two years behind. I had rather save a bit more get the 6s if at all possible. With the 2GB RAM, you'll be in good shape for a few years. I had my 4S for four years, and I anticipate the 6s being good for another four years.

I moved up from the 32GB 4S to the 64GB 6s. It's quite a jump. If I still had the 4S and it functioned well, though slowly, and if I wanted to upgrade but didn't have the money at present to get the 6s, I would save for a few more months to get the 6s. I think it's the best move in the long run.

After a few days you won't even notice the size difference. I went from a 6 to a 6s Plus and it doesn't feel big anymore, it just feels normal. I think budget would be more of a concern than size.

I just upgraded from a 4 to the 6s and I had the same size concern you did. Honestly, I love my 6s and size-wise it is not as big as I initially thought it would be. I have small hands, but it is handling quite well with one or two hands and I find that I mistype much less.

Well, so... I finally bought it! 6s, 64gb, silver.
The speed improvement for someone used to the 4S's performance is just incredible. It's blazing fast!!
Moving from a 3.5" device to a 4.7" is also pretty easy, imho. After just a day I can hardly think about how I could live with such a small display :D

Glad you could get the 6s...no reason why it shouldn't last you at least 3-4 years provided you don't get too happy with iOS updates.
