You cannot upgrade iPods they are as they are....Youre best choice is to sell your current iPod and buy a new one with larger capacity possibly a 6gb Mini or an iPod Photo.

cant decide! ARGH!

will we see more mini updates soon?

Just go for the 30gb Photo its really nice and will not be outdated for a while, whereas the normal 20gb ipod will probably be updated or phased out this summer at macworld when apple announces they are only selling shuffles, ipod mini's and ipod photos.

anyidea when exactly is the next apple thingy..?

apple thingy, lol. No I have no idea.

I'm in the same boat as you though, I decided to buy a Mini last year because I only had 500 songs. Well I wasn't thinking ahead.

I'm probably going to wait until the next ipod revision though. I think that the normal ipod will just be phased out and the ipod photo will become the regular with a reduced price. Well, thats what I'm hoping.
