I just Bought an iMac G3 for $6 USD. the only problem it has is a dieing hard drive so I though I might as well try and fix it up.

It's an old Bondi blue.

So what I want to do with it is put a 500 mhz logic bored and put in the max amount of ram it can take.

I need some advice on how to do this (if It's possible) and what it's limits would be.

Thanks in advance.

assuming you have a 233mhz rev a imac you could get the cpu from a rev c 333mhz, it's not much of a speed bump but it is faster, also adding a little more ram con go a long way
