Here I am going to go to apple after the warranty is up and see if they will swap it our for a new one with a warranty in a different colour for free

HIS post makes no sense . . . 14 days ago the white one was available. So why didn't he just get it then? I'm presuming he's had it for a while, and your analogy of the car color change was spot on.
ahh. I am thinking of selling my touch for a white one
I think it's a waste to trade it for another color, but thats just me.
