Hi, I'm new around here and the same goes for jailbreaking. I would like to ask if is it possible to upgrade to 5.0/5.0.1 or 4.3.3 just for the sake of jail breaking it? My current iOS version is 4.3.2 and this is my first time to jail break. I currently own an iPad 2 wifi.

If you have saved your SHSH/blobs for 4.3.3 in the past with TinyUmbrella yes you can, otherwise no you can't

5.0/5.01 is not possible anymore and for 5.1 there is currently no JB

I see :< I'm downloading the 4.3.3 right now but I guess it won't do anything. What is a SHSH? I'm really new to jail breaking.

Its the way apple signs there ios firware, if you don't know what is is you have no chance of upgrading to 4.3.3, don't try it, you might get stuck somwhere.

Only option is upgrading to 5.1, no jailbreak (yet) though.
