Same old, same old, but I need some advice.

As you can see by my sig, I've got a 20" Core Duo (not a C2D) iMac. Would it be a smart plan to upgrade to a new iMac later this summer (possibly with a bigger screen as well), or would it be better to wait longer. I just don't want to upgrade and find that I don't get a big performance boost compared to my CD.

I would use it until Nehalem or Gesher iMac is released. Just enjoy that you have a nice computer, don't think that much about upgrading it to a new mac.:)

the question is -- do you NEED to upgrade?
there's nothing really wrong with cd. you have a good machine. unless you just have a bunch of cash you don't know what to do with, it sounds like you've got GAS.
