I'm looking at upgrading my company website. I must say I have 0 skill in this area aside from a small bit of html knowledge (css, div tags, php and forms I know nothing about). I have a person doing the design work for the site I'm just curious what the best way to find a coder is and is that expensive if all that person did was slice the .psd document and code out the site?

Thanks for the help! I've also downloaded Coda, Pixelmator and FileZilla to sort of prepare me for this upgrade. Should I know get anything else?

What's the point of buying web development software if you're just going to hire someone else to do it?

I intend on being able to upload documents to the site like articles, white papers, etc and change text when ever I need to or add additional drop downs, etc. I just want it built I can manipulate when it's done.

Why not just have it built in a CMS like Wordpress? Then you wouldn't have to manipulate files and the like.
