Upgrading compatible RAM, what about bootcamp?

Hi guys, I'm going to upgrade my RAM for helping me with 3DS Max. I would go for the 2 x 8 GB edition here: http://www.crucial.com/upgrade/Appl...re+i7+(15-inch+DDR3)+Early-2011-upgrades.html

Since I am running 3DS on bootcamp I would like to know if there are any compatibility options with new RAM & Windows (vista).. Found some posts about Win7 but I just wanted to check before I buy something

The OS doesn't give a damn about what sort of RAM you use it just expects it to work. There is no such thing as RAM compatibility with Windows.

I would consider that RAM expensive that you picked. You can get ddr3 1600 cl 10 for that.
Though unless you use an onboard GPU like the HD 4000 1600Mhz RAM isn't really worth it.

Seems the best choice on that newegg list if you ignore the $99 RAM from unknown brands.
