Upgrading firmware 1.1.1 to 1.1.3 or 1.1.4 on iphone

Hi
I have a jailbroken, unlocked 1.1.1 iphone and was wondering if there are any precautions i must take if i was to upgrade using itunes.
I have searched around but havn't found much evidence of this occuring, but just to make sure do i need to restore the phone then jailbreak it again or what?
