I am the proud owner of a new Crucial M255 SSD (256GB) in a new i7 MBP 15". It is working fine (and it is fast)!

The firmware on the Crucial SSD is 1819 (see below). The latest firmware I believe is 1916 (http://www.crucial.com/support/firmware.aspx). I have looked on the Crucial website and search the Net and this forum for instructions on how to upgrade my new drive to 1916 on a Mac. If this information is available, I have not been able to find it so my apologies in advance but I would appreciate your assistance to perform this upgrade (assuming I should?).

Looks like the boot from CD option doesn't require windows. Seems like you just download the CD image, unzip it, pop in a blank CD, open it with Disk Utility and burn from image file, and then boot from the CD.

Thank you for the reply. Will try
