I have a jailbroken 1.1.4 iPod Touch, and I was wondering if I will be able to upgrade to the eventual 1.2 firmware without doing a restore. It's not a big deal, I was just wondering. I have only recently jailbroken my iPod, so I have never been through a firmware upgrade with a jailbroken iPod.

all updates will require a rejailbreaking, it cannot be avoided, inless pownage tool allows old apps to be "injected" into the new firmware

(word, 6502!)

the pwnage tool (mac version) can have bundles added to it for different apps, winpwn (windows version) cannot at the minute.

ahh, I have only played with winpwn, so I will have to look into that
but to do a restore of apps, the GUI would need some work
