I ordered a new 2.4Ghz model this afternoon with the education discount. I already sold the Blackbook, which was a pre-Santa Rosa model, but does anyone know how much performance will increase on processor specific tasks? Also, is there going to be a significant battery life improvement from that older Macbook to this new one?

Thanks for the help.

Maybe some battery improvement but I wouldn't say you are going to see HUGE improvement.

Do you really need this new machine? I'd say even the Rev A. MacBooks would still be fine for most people.

I said that in the nice form of saying "SPOILED".;)

It's too late for me not to upgrade, so I'm not going to worry about it right now. Besides, that backlit keyboard looks excellent.
