I’m going to be upgrading my 7+ next month and wanted opinions on either going for the 11 or 12? I’ve looked at the mini but think the size will be too much of a shock to me.

I’m U.K. and will be paying monthly, around £9/10 difference per month between the 11 & 12, what’s everyone’s thoughts?

I went from 8+ to the 12 ProMax. It’s an amazing phone! I got used to the different shape very quickly.

I went from the 7 Plus to the 12 Pro. The size is perfect - I got a slightly bigger screen in a slightly smaller package.

As to 11 vs 12:

Since you still have a 7 Plus, I am assuming you like to keep phones a long time. If so, I advise the 12 over the 11, for the following reasons:
  1. Getting a one year newer processor gives you an extra year until the phone is obsolete.
  2. The 12 supports 5G. Here in the US, that's not so important yet, because 5G coverage is minimal. Nevertheless, since I like to keep phones a long time, I expect 5G to be important before I upgrade again.
  3. The 12 has a higher resolution display, and is OLED vs LCD.
  4. The new shape of the 12 over the 11. Among other things, having a flat screen makes screen protectors much easier to put on - and more likely to stay on.

You might want to check this comparison on the Apple web site to help you decide:
