I was planning on upgrading to a bigger screen. I know many people think an upgrade from xs to 11 pro isn't that big but how much bigger would an upgrade from the original x to 11 pro max be?

The size difference is remarkable. The X can kind of be a one handed phone. For most normal size hands, the Max models are 1.5-2 hand devices. You can make it a one hand device, but it's really cumbersome at time.

The big screen is really great for viewing, though, and the battery will be a huge advantage. Also, this camera system looks significantly better than the XS let alone the X.

In short, it's a very big improvement, IMHO, but be read for the size.

The difference is hugely noticeable once I upgraded to XS Max from X. Looking at the X, the screen seems much smaller.

11 Pro Max will be noticeably larger. You’ll question yourself at first regarding how large this phone is with a case on and trying to stick it in jean pockets with other items (no go).

Eventually I got used to the size but wear one of those Nite Ize XL sideways holsters.
