Upgrading from Aperture Trial to Full: Reinstall required?

Just curious. I am downloading Aperture 3.1 Trial... If I install this, can I just input the "Full" version aperture 3 key to make it legit? or Do I have to uninstall the trial and install Aperture 3 from the disc to get the "Full" version?
