I've had IOS 7 Beta for some time now. Now that the IOS 7 is officailly released, will i have to go back to IOS6 and then upgrade or will i get notification to upgrade even though I am running IOS7?

Nope you can go right to the release but you probably have to do it via itunes as I'm not sure it will be available to beta users OTA but it could be, just check.

You can update from the Beta to the public version through the latest version of iTunes. My coworker just did it without a hitch. We were surprised.

Interesting, that wasn't possible on iOS5 GM or iOS6 GM's - had to get the ipsw and do a manual update or something like that.
