I'm selling my Verizon iPhone 5 for about $450 in a few days and, while I think I know what I'm doing, I just want to confirm with the people on this forum.
This is what I want to do:
- Sell my iPhone 5 for $450
- Buy a new iPhone 5 from the Apple Store on Verizon on a new line (to use until Friday, then I just return it for the 5s) at the subsidized pricing of $199.
- Terminate my old line ($350 - $10*10 = $250)
Apparently theres no way to keep your old number doing this - is this true? Are there any hidden fees I might encounter? I know there might be one to add a line.
