Looking to upgrade one of the phones on my Verizon account. It's an iPhone 6 and starting to shows its age so I want to get a replacement that's not a plus size. I think the X is about as large as a screen I can handle and prefer to get a model that can take portrait photos. So it seems like the X is the best option. If I go this route should I buy through Verizon or Apple? Any benefits from buying through one or the other if I want to trade in my 6? Also I don't mind paying for the entire phone outright or monthly payments.

The benefit of buying through Apple is if you change your mind and return your phone within 14 days, you don’t get charged a restocking fee. If you buy the sim free model from Apple you don’t get charged the upgrade fee.

On the other hand, sometimes Verizon has special offers. If they don’t, buy from Apple.
