I have an ipad 3 thats been on 5.1.1 (Jailbroken) for as long as 5.1.1 JB has been released.

Its a pain in the ass now because over half the apps that i need from the appstore require ios 6, effectively locking me out of a good number of apps.

I was just wondering if theres a possible way to upgrade from JB 5.1.1 to JB 6.x.x without too much of a hassle?

Thanks

Because you can only update to 6.1.3 that is the only version apple let's you install, and there is no jailbreak for it... Stay on 5.1.1 and appreciate the jailbreak

Yea stay put. Stay in the loop and wait for the iOS 7 jailbreak. When it comes out, update and then jailbreak it!

FYI, based on the last few jailbreaks, I wouldn't expect a new jailbreak for iOS7 until Q1 2014.
