Hello folks, I'm currently using a late 2013 13" Macbook pro w/ 256GB SSD & 8GB RAM. I don't heavily use it like many other users, I just use it for normal basic usage + playing a game called Runescape. Nothing heavy at all.

I've got no real reason to upgrade so I imagine I probably shouldn't but I've seen a refurb 2015 model with 8GB RAM + 128GB SSD (enough for me going by my usage for the past 4 yrs) and a slightly better processor for £889. (apparently it is brand new, just old stock so in refurb store).

I can probably get £500-600 for my current one as it is well conditioned, do you guys think its a decent upgrade for £300? Or is it due to be outdated shortly? The reason why I only want the 2015 model is because the recent ones have a few nuances like large trackpad/low keys/lack of ports.

Thanks

Well if you aren't attracted by the current design then you may want to take this while its there. The current design will be around for another 2-3 years I'd imagine, so if you want a machine to get you through that, this is the one to do it. I personally can't cope with 128gb ssd but if you are fine with that why not.
