WOW! Very cool thanks for the post. I remember the good old days with my dos 5 and windows 3.1 floppy disks

Then My Windows 95 CD came!! I skipped windows 98 unfortunately got stuck with Windows ME, 2000 then xp!

Yeah, I saw that on engadget yesterday and was extremely impressed.

Too bad that Vista and beyond lost the color schemes that originated from the windows 1 install.

I'm tempted to see if I can get my hands on a windows 1 install image and load that into vmware.

I remember using windows 1 on an old Digital PC and selling windows 3 and 3.1 at egghead software back in the day. That was before MS was perceived as the evil empire.

You shouldn't have skipped 98. Or at least 98SE. It's still the best version of Windows in my opinion and I miss using it very much. I would be still using it if it was still in support and could run modern programs and run on modern machines.

Man, I am sure most of us can remember Dos Shell and using wordperfect... Oh the days.

Or having games on the small disks and then having to switch them out when you get to a certain level! Oh the days.

This was very cool.

Had to skip it!, my computer at the time would not run windows 98 or SE. I still favour windows 2000 and XP. I am not a fan of Vista or windows 7

I remember having a copy of Monkey Island II which came on 14 floppy disks. What a pain! :)
