Is there really any reason I need to do this? I'm running 10.3.9, and I have everything I need. Is there really anything I'm missing out on with 10.4?

its more of a under the hood type upgrade and its worth it. on the surface you got spotlight thats wonderful for lazy people like me. dashboard is there with all the little widgets your heart would love. its worth it.

I don't find it necessary to upgrade...I'm running Tiger on my work PowerBook, but still have Panther on an old iBook at home. I use Dashboard a bit, rarely use Spotlight and appreciate some of the upgrades to Safari (such as inline PDF viewing) and Mail, but that's about it. It's not a must-have in my book.
