I have the series 0 38mm SS and it has held up well i am real rough on things and keep it on while doing stuff around the house and with the kids etc. But its a $200 cost to get the SS vs the Aluminum. Forgetting the look and feel (i know the SS is heaver and feels stronger) has the sport held up for folks that dont baby there watch? I dont want to spend $200 but also dont want to save it just to need a new one in a month when i break it.

I'm not real hard on my watch but my sport version has been fine since launch day. I have one little scratch in the corner from a chain link fence I was trimming around but otherwise no issues. The body will be fine, its the screen you have to be careful with. I dont know anyone with a SS model but all I know with the sport have had the same experience. No issues. I suppose it depends how rough you are exactly.

I had the series 0 42mm SS and the case was pretty scratched up even when I was careful. I have had the Sport S1 for nearly a year without any scratches at all.

I loved the milanese loop and would almost buy a SS for that reason... but then I remember the case scratches and the extra $200 cost and talk myself out of it.

My wife... who isn't careful... has scratches on the case and screen of her series 0 42mm Sport. She has also had the watch for 2 years. A normal person wouldn't consider her watch scratched up....
