Hey guys, I'm new to the forum, I hope this is the right place to post, but I'm currently running a Macbook Pro on Tiger and I am interested on switching over to Leopard- just so I can take advantage of a few new add-ons they have and the Sims 3 (when it comes out). Would it be smart to switch over to Leopard at this point in time, or wait for Snow Leopard? I have a family member who has the Leopard installation discs, could I just use that to do the upgrade or would I have to buy? I appreciate all the help you can give.

Cheers,

Jamie

Technically, it is against the user agreement to use a family member's install discs to install leopard on your computer. It will work if you used their discs to install it though.
