I'm upgrading from Garageband 1 to Garageband 3. (Yeah I know, behind the times!) Does anybody know how or if my existing Garageband stuff will be affected by the upgrade? Like the Expansion packs I've installed, the plug-ins I've installed from the 'net, these sort of things. Also, are there ever any problems opening older GB files in newer versions?

Others may have a different experience, but speaking personally I've gone from GB 1 to 2 and now to 3 and haven't had any issues with either opening older files in the newer versions or with any of the extra instruments and loops I've added (some Apple, some not). It's really seemed like they've just added to and/or cleaned up what was there before really. So my guess is you'll be fine.
