I have the following computer:
MacBook Pro (Retina, Mid 2012)
2.6 GHz Intel Core i7
16 GB 1600 MHz DDR3

I was hopping a new MBP was going to be announced but since its just a small upgrade does not make sense for me to buy a new one.

I currently have a 750G hard drive. I believe its SSD. Is it possible to upgrade it to a larger drive? Also I have heard of people adding a 2nd drive but I don't think I can because I don't have an optical drive right?

Thanks,

J

OWC sells a 1 TB drive that would work with the rMBP, can't think of any other place that does though. As for a second hard drive, only the cMBP has an optical drive so you're out of luck on that one.
