I'm new here, so I guess I'll start off by saying hi to everyone! But anyway, I recently ordered a 320GB hard drive to put into my macbook, and after I install it I plan on doing a clean install of Leopard and moving over my data from my Time Machine Drive. Before I do though, will I have to deauthorize my computer in iTunes, or will it treat the new hard drive as the same computer?

Thanks in advance.

Not sure I understand you, but I think your concern is the authorization of iTunes. If you fresh install Leopard, it will treat it as a new drive, therefor you need to authorize the computer again. Then again I'm not sure, since I fresh installed Leopard, forgot to de authorize, and when I re authorized, it still said 2 machines out of 5 total. I had two authorized before install... so I'm not really sure.

I would deauthorise iTunes on your current HD before installing the new one, just in case.
