Hi All,
First of all apologies if this has been answered before however I've been digging around and can't find the answer!
I have on old iMac G3 233Mhz tray loader with a 4GB hard drive and have been able to load MacOS10.3 on it but with little space left. I replaced the hard drive with a 40GB EIDE, with 2 partitions, one just under 8GB. Try as I might, when I get to "Select Destination" during re-install, I can see the two partitions but both have the red square with the question mark and I can't select either as a destination.
I tried going back then forward again several times, re-partitioning the drive to various sizes all under 8GB but with no success.
I was thinking about a Firmware update but surely if I can load 10.3 on the 4GB drive then that should be okay?
I'd appreciate some suggestions as to how to get round the problem!
Many thanks
