Upgrading iPhone 3G to iPhone 3GS but on Family Plan

I plan on selling my 3G, which is on a 3 phone family plan, and buying a 3GS on launch day. Can Apple Upgrade my phone at the Apple store even though I'm on a family plan? Thanks

yes you can do it at the apple store, or you can do it online if you sign into my wireless. you also get the handset upgrade fee waived if you do it online.

You can do it online you just need the last 4 digits of the primary account holders social security.

OK, so if I do it online, at the Apple Online Store, It just ships here and I don't have to pay the $18 to upgrade? What about Tax? Any change there? Oh, and I'm paying $500, so no upgrade really.

Ok, last 4 of the SS I have, so it can be done at the Apple store? I wanna just go to the store, have them upgrade and be done.

Oh, last thing, When I do upgrade to the GS, my old 3G is totally without any contract right? So ebaying it is fine?
