upgrading iPhone 3gs from AT&T to New Network

Hey guys I'd appreciate if you could enlighten me:

My iPhone 3gs is on AT&T and the 2 years is up in December. How would I go about switching my service to Sprint/Verizon on a 4gs now?

Would AT&T charge me a ridiculous fee even though my contract is up in 2 months?

Unfortunately, AT&T doesn't want you to leave. They will try to work with you on what the problem is. They will even say that they also offer iPhone 4 and iPhone 4s.

So yea, they will charge early termination fee.

yeah you're right...just called AT&T and they are charging me a 65$ fee. whatever lol thats nothin.

do you know how i could pre-order my phone on sprint and then be able to switch my phone number over?
