Hey guys,

So i know the 4G isn't out yet but,

I have the iPhone 3G 16GB and i am on a contract that will be ending soon.

I skipped buying the 3GS because i thought that was allowed of bulls**t and wasn't worth buying.

But now the 4G looks immense! and i was wondering if it is possible to just buy the 4G and put my contract SIM Card into the 4G and then just upgrade my contract?

Thanks,,

just a warning, there's people on here who will flame you for calling it a 4G, its an iPhone 4

but to answer your question, your SIM will not be compatible. But don't worry, Apple has a pretty elegant system of transferring your number over. Just plug into iTunes, and a simple step by step process will walk you through moving your number over. It should be relatively painless
