Hi,

I have a IPad 2 that runns 5.1.1 and is jailbroken. Now Im thinking of upgrading this to iOS 7 but the question how? Could I just run the update? Or should I do somthing first to avoid getting it bricked?

I know that iOS7 is not jailbroken but apparently there is ways to install custom applications so I think it would be just fine.

BestRegards

You need to restore your iPad in iTunes and allow it to update there. Do not restore from backup, you'll have to start fresh so make sure you really want to do it first.

Tanks, so this is what I need to do :

  1. Connect IPad to computer/ITunes
  2. Do a restore (in someway) without backup
  3. Do a update to Ios7

Is this it? Where will I dind the retore option?
