Hi all ,
Just need help in updating my system from version 10.5.4 to 10.5.6

I have many installed applications and softwares on my iMac ..
On updating and upgrading my version of MAC , would any of those application be deleted or this is simply software update and no changes for what i did add ?!
Is it also necessary to upgrade or not big difference and not big deal ?!

Also , i am trying to sign-in on Messenger Mac but it shows an error that the password is wrong or the sign-in name does not exist but the password is already saved on it and signed in several times before ... and i tried other accounts but didnt work.. :apple:

Thanks in advance and waiting for your replies ...

Just download and install the OS update by clicking on the apple>software updates. Don't worry nothing gets deleted. It just updates OS X and doesn't touch your files.

Also if you are having problems with your msn, I would highly recommend using Adium. It is the best IM program I have used for OS X, it is an all-in-one and will work for almost every IM protocol (aim, yahoo, msn, icq, facebook etc.)

You will be fine updating Mac OS X to the latest, it won't delete any of your programs as it is just a software update. And as for your other problem, have you tried manually typing in your email and password or not?

Try logging into the actual email account through a web browser. If that works, you might consider changing the password and then retrying on MSN Messenger. You could also give Adium a try like someone else suggested, I use that instead of MSN Messenger.
