Upgrading macbook pro HD

Just purchased a 13'' off the refurb site. I'm looking to install a 500gig HD, now considering i wont have any data on the computer to worry about, can i simply drop the new hd in the computer and just throw in the snow leopard disk and install the os? Or is it more complex than that? I'm hoping its just plug and play but i'm not certain. Any help or input would greatly appreciated.

It is. Internal hard drives don't require drivers.
