I am upgrading my MBP and want to use Migration Assistant. The question I have is... I have been negligent and using my current MBP logged on as Admin. I want to create a user profile separate from Admin on my new MBP. Will I be able to migrate all my apps and settings from my old MBP Admin account to the new MBP user profile without issue? Any suggestions how to do this so I don't have issues during migration would be much appreciated.

Thanks

Easier way (I think):

Create a new Admin account.
Log out of your current account and login to the new Admin account.
Remove Admin privileges from your current account.
Logout of the Admin account and log back into your user account.

For those more experienced -- any issues with this?

OK. That was an easy fix. Thanks for the help.

Follow-up to this... I created a new admin account and removed admin privileges from my previous account, which I am now using for normal day-to-day computing. After the change, iTunes and Dropbox kept asking me to approve firewall permissions. Had to reinstall iTunes and Dropbox to fix this. No other issues noted.
