I have a 2010 MBP that's been running pretty well and I do weekly Time Machine backups.
There are 2 issues that I've noticed in the past few months. One is that my Calendar app will sometimes lose sync with the Gmail calendar app. If I restart the machine, the sync issue will be resolved (I rarely restart my laptop, I just let it sleep when not in use).
The second issue is that iTunes sometimes won't quit when I close the app and I'll have to force quit the app. Again, a reboot of the computer solves the issue for a short while.
If I upgrade my 2010 MBP to one of the newer MBPs and then restore my programs and settings from my Time Machine backup onto the new computer, will I have the same issues migrating over to the new machine?
