Hello,

I just purchased a new MacBook Pro 15". I would eventually (6 months or so) like to add memory, boosting it to 8GB. Does anyone know if upgrading the memory yourself voids the warranty? With the unibody design it's more of a chore to add memory and I want to make sure that I'm not voiding the warranty.

Thanks,
Rod

No warranty void. Just take the lid off the back, click the RAM out and put the new one in.

Doesn't void the warranty and it's super easy, you just have to remove a few screws.
