Upgrading Mid 2010 MacBook?

Hi new to the forums, and had a few questions. I was considering upgrading the ram and maybe switching to an ssd for my 2010 MacBook. What type of ram will my mac accept and is there a certain brand ssd you would recommend? Finally is it worth the effort to upgrade i only use it for web browsing and doing homework online for college starting in August.

An SSD makes a huge difference. Simple web browsing and doing anything is sped up. I couldn't believe how fast it got when I put an SSD in. I bought this model https://www.amazon.de/gp/product/B00P73B1E4/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc=1

As for RAM, I think just googling would give you an answer!

Thanks i'll check out that ssd and i found specs for what ram i need.
