Same stuff as Crucial/Micron C400 and Intel 510. It's a good drive although quite expensive. I would probably get a SATA 3Gb/s SSD and save a hundred. The difference isn't noticeable by most users
Fat indeed, but actually not overwhelming fast, compared to price.
I would look for the Intel X25-M series. Hidden under many names, i know for a fact - that Kingston calls it "M-series". You will get alot more for your money.

I like the idea of the X25M because -- at least if I'm not completely off on this -- it sounds like a "safe" no-hassle choice. I'm not the type who wants to get the latest greatest one and then have issues.
How can I find these "hidden" ones so that I can shop and compare -- and yet know for sure they are X25's? I would not mind saving money but also don't want hassles just for saving a few bucks.
