Hi everyone, I am brand new to this forum. Actually, new to forums in general. Here is my dilemma. I am working on an iMac, 1.83 GHz, my OS version is 10.4.11. I became interested in upgrading as I really want to be able to use the new Blackberry sync application for Mac that was released the other day. I found the 10.5.1 version by googling it, but cannot find a 10.5.0 version for download anywhere (seems to be a requirement before the 10.5.1, much to my newbie chagrin).

Maybe I cannot find it because it is a couple of years old? I'm stumped.

Thanks in advance for any help!!

Mac OS X 10.5 is Leopard and you will be downloading the latest updates anyway, so you don't need to get the original release of Leopard. What you'll want to get is any Leopard disc, most will probably have 10.5.6 on them. You can find them on ebay, as Apple came out with Snow Leopard or 10.6 just over a month ago. Also, you won't be able to find a legal download of Leopard, as Apple only offered it for sale in disc form.

Thank you!

I really appreciate the help, I will be searching for Leopard on eBay tonight!
