Hello everyone, I am actually upgrading my 6 months old white MB to a new MBP 2.53GHz.

I need to copy ical, addybook and itunes settings and sync my iphone 3G to my new MBP. What is the best way to do it

Edit: Note that I have a backup of my MB to an external HDD using time machine

Regards,

When you start up your new Mac for the first time, the Setup Assistant will ask you a few questions (Name, User Account info, etc.). One of the questions it will ask is whether you've had an old Mac. It will offer to transfer everything to your new MacBook Pro either by connecting it to the old computer or using a Time Machine backup.

Note that the transfer of data may take a couple hours, depending on how much data you have.
