I have had my Synology 211j for 4 months now. As much as I love the ease of use of using my NAS, I do find it a bit slow at times, especially when trying to do multiple things at once.
I have now decided to sell it and will be buying the 211+ instead.
I know I will just be able to transfer my two drives over to the new NAS, but how about my NAS settings and config on my current NAS? e.g. things like user accounts, shared folders, settings etc
Are these saved on the disks or is there a way to transfer settings/config from one NAS box to another?
Any info would be helpful
