Hey, 12" pbook (specs in signature) needs some upgrades. Do any of you recommend buying the Mac Box set? It looks awesome, and I don't even have iLife on my mac. I have Tiger as well. Tell me what you guys think

This would be a good upgrade for you if you plan on using iWork and iLife. But I'm not sure how well the new iMovie or GarageBand will work on your PowerBook.
Thanks. Does anybody know if pages has a built in microphone recording feature like microsoft word? I need to record lectures for school.
iMovie 08 wasn't supported on G4 processors, and I highly doubt the new version will be either. The last compatible version is '06 iMovie HD.
Keep that in mind if you plan on doing video work
Also, Garageband '08 is VERY slow on my 12" 1.5 G4 and I have maxed the RAM.
