i did a search...could not really find any recent definitive answers....

anyway wanna update my 1.83 macbook pro CD to two gigs of ram...
but not from apple...and i have a couple questions...

1.) who is the most trust worthy (Macsales, Newegg etc...)

2.) when i got to the mac sales site they OWC, Samsung, and couple others...does it make a difference

trust worthy: I ordered my RAM upgrade directly from Kingston's website. Great prices & service.

I used newegg.com and Corsair RAM. But honestly, oce you choose a trustworthy site, almost any RAM will work. The differences between them will be so slight as to not even be noticeable.

Just bought a 2GB stick from Crucial and it worked out great. Picked it up for a local retailer for a great price.

i just recently bought a 2gb corsair stick from newegg for my currently 1gb macbook. got it yesterday and still have yet to install it. haha i need to find a 00 philips screwdriver first..

but anyways i would highly suggest upgrading your ram and i would recommend buying from newegg. good prices on all their ram and fast shipping!
