i want to upgrade the ram in my 08 13" macbook.. i know its max capacity is 6 gigs but how can i get 6gigs? i have looked high and low but it seems like 3gig chips do not exist and from my understanding the chips must match Ie. 2gigx2gig=4gig so how can i obtain a full 6 gigs and where do you guys recommend i get it from?

Either use 1x2GB and 1X4GB or use 2x4GB. If you install 8GB, it will only use 6GB and ignore the rest.
Some great sources for RAM for your Mac are OWC, Crucial and newegg.com.
